Papa Owl
Hands out sweets from his porch
Papa Owl is wise, wide-eyed and the keeper of the best porch in Rascal Woods. He lives at the edge of the woods, where he watches over the path with his big round eyes and always has a kind word for anyone passing by in the dark. Otto, his son, is very proud of him.
On Halloween night his porch is the most popular place in Rascal Woods. Papa Owl sits behind a big bowl and hands out the best sweets, one for every costume, and a second one for anyone brave enough to say a spooky hello. Nobody ever leaves with empty pockets.
